Ricoh believes it has found a way to incorporate the latest technologies in optical drives together. This is due to their invention of a special lens that can support all formats. Take a look at the picture of the lens - it has any grooves in it. Is this the future in lens making? Anysway Ricoh will be releasing the reader version of the lens within the next few months and will release the writer version next year.
