Just when you thought getting VMWare Server for free was a good thing, Microsoft raises the ante by making VirtualPC 2004 free to everybody. Thus at this time, Microsoft has a Server and Workstation virtual machines offered for free. As the war escalates, will VMWare retaliate by making their Workstation free? Only the future will tell.
