Lithium-ion batteries are not just for cell phones and laptops any more. In comes the Tesla Roadster, a two seater that can go from 0 to 60 mph in about 4 seconds and has a top speed of 130 mph. The package itself is beautiful and not Frankenstein invention that resembles the first-generation Honda Prius. This one actually looks like a sports car. It seems that lately, electric cars are outperforming their gasoline counterparts and this one is no exception. This car is totally brilliant. The only downside is that being an electric car, you will need to recharge it every night for a few hours. No instant gratification at the gas station here.
